    We brought Bitcoin Beef Bits to the Plan ₿ Forum in Lugano, Switzerland — a Bitcoin-only conference that gathers builders, entrepreneurs, and thinkers to discuss adoption, economics, and freedom.

    This was the official in-person launch of the GENESIS Edition, where visitors could pick up their pre-orders. It was also our second event this year, following our debut at BTCHEL in Helsinki.

    The event drew Bitcoiners from across Europe, from miners and developers to independent creators. Our booth was located in the Mempool tent next to the dining area.

    We were lucky to meet some true Meat Maximalists along the way — including Martti Malmi, Saifedean Ammous, and Jimmy Song — all sharing the same belief that sound money and sound food go hand in hand. One thing that stood out in Lugano was how much Bitcoiners care about what they eat. Many care about the ingredients in their food and choose quality and fiat-free food over mass-produced substitutes.

    Turning Bitcoin miner heat into real food energy ⚡

    The largest and only Bitcoin-only event in the Nordics, BTCHEL 2025, marked a first for Helsinki—and for food innovation. Amid the plebs, miners, and lightning zaps, we launched Bitcoin Beef Bits, a premium beef snack made with nothing but beef, salt, and the heat of Bitcoin mining.

    It is the world’s first hash-dried beef, that quickly became one of the most talked-about at the event.

    From Miner Heat to Meat

    Bitcoin Beef Bits isn’t just another beef snack. It’s dried using excess heat from Bitcoin mining rigs—the same Proof-of-Work energy that secures the network.

    By the end of the weekend, we had completely sold out.
